Before moving to Vancouver in June 2016, Sarbast worked as a professional film and art director in Iraqi Kurdistan, Iran, Turkey and USA for over 15 years, in both artistic and commercial sectors. Sarbast has a wide range of experience working in different areas, including documentary film making, short video direction and cinematic productions. Being faced with endless challenges with only a limited amount of resources available to work with, helped him to gain the confidence that any challenge could be overcome, by being creative and thinking outside the box.
